Houston Collie Rescue, Inc is presented with an "Award of Excellence" for our dedication & Service to the Collie by the Collie Club of America's Quarter Century Collie Group. Vickey Willard and Alice Rostkowski accepted this award on behalf of Houston Collie Rescue at the Quarter Century Collie Group Awards Ceremony & Dinner Party in Oklahoma City, OK. This recognition was acheived by the efforts of so many kind, hard working Volunteers, Foster homes, Adopters & Contributors who gave so much of their time, heart & soul in helping 146 seized collies turned over to HCR by the Federal Courts. Houston Collie Rescue is very honored as this Award recognizes every single Camp Collie Supporter.

Houston Collie Rescue was awarded 152 Collies placed in our care by the Federal Court. Thanks to the many volunteers, foster homes, & supporters who helped in the placement of these Collies. HCR is very pleased to say that every seized collie has been adopted and are flourishing in their new homes. HCR had the pleasure of Deborah Wrigley coming out reporting on the 2011 dog show. She and camera Guy consumed our booth & even sat and chatted for awhile. They did lots of filming and interviewed with Beth Roose and Jon Provost which was great exposure for HCR.
