Houston Collie Rescue is always in need of foster homes especially foster homes and/or adopters who do not have any other dogs in their homes. Some Collies are so hungry for human attention and affection that they do not like to share their humans with other dogs. These Collies are beautiful, sweet, and well behaved with people. Since most of our foster homes are collie lovers, single dog homes are in short supply.

Houston Collie Rescue provides the continuous Vetting for our fosters as well as monthly heartworm preventative. We can even help subsidize the cost of food if needed.

Our sorrow is eclipsed by the joy you brought us during the time we shared. You will be missed and never forgotten. More recent Memorials can be found on our Facebook page.

Heartworms is a devastating disease – but prevention is easy! Unfortunately some of our Collies come to us already infected with heartworms.
